A Harvest Dinner, also referred to as “farm-to-fork” or “farm-to-table” celebrates seasonal bounty from local farms. Harvest Dinners have recently gained popularity, and become a regular routine for families who can purchase CSA shares, frequent their farmers market or tend to their own backyard gardens. However, an increasing number of families are unable to enjoy fresh local food at their own dinner table.

Healthy Food For All is a collaborative effort of area farms and Cornell Cooperative Extension to reduce the cost of fresh, locally grown produce for over 100 low-income families in the greater Ithaca community.

Host a Harvest Dinner and savor the flavors of the season with your guests while raising money to share the bountiful harvest of healthy food with all! Raise $250 (for example, $25 from 10 people attending your fundraiser) and end food insecurity for one family from June through November. Change the World. Start with Dinner.
